Donated Vegetables to a British Charity

Sakata UK Ltd. canceled their 2020 annual Open Days (exhibition of varieties) due to Covid-19. Previously, they grow a lot of vegetables for display at the Open Days. However, in 2020 we donated them to a British charity which distributed the vegetables to needy individuals.

On October 12, 2020, twelve staff members from all departments of Sakata UK Ltd. gathered to harvest and box broccoli, cauliflower, and cabbage grown by Sakata UK Ltd. Staff members harvested more than 2,000 kilograms of vegetables. A local producer provided a tractor and vegetable cutting machines for harvesting free of charge.

We hope that this initiative will bring happiness to many people through Sakata vegetables.
