Status of This Policy and Scope of Its Application
Since its establishment, Sakata Seed Corporation and its affiliated companies (hereinafter referred to as "SAKATA Group") have been on a mission to develop high value-added seeds and seedlings, provide a stable supply of high-quality seeds and seedlings, and offer products and services that facilitate efficient production to help improve the living conditions of people around the world. In order to continue to provide a stable supply of products and services to help address issues in the agriculture and horticulture industries and to contribute to and sustainable development in each country and region around the world, the group will engage in sustainable procurement activities with its business partners.
This policy applies to all employees and executives of SAKATA Group.

Our suppliers are important partners in the stable supply of high-quality seeds and agricultural and horticultural materials. The ideal of our group is to prosper together while building mutual trust.
We have established human rights consultation service to promptly and appropriately respond to potential or actual risks to human rights in procurement activities and work to remedy issues.
We will ensure that the privacy of whistleblowers is strictly observed and protected, and the related departments will work together to ensure appropriate responses and solutions.
