Volunteer Team Participates in 24 Heures Saint-Pierre

Once again this year, employees of Sakata Vegetables Europe S.A.S. (hereinafter, “SVE”) gathered and participated in 24 Heures Saint-Pierre in order to support children with illness and disabilities. This event is held to raise funds for a hospital that is located in Palavas-les-Flots near Montpellier and that specializes in pediatric treatment for long-term illnesses. The event featured participation by 900 athletes, including more than 200 volunteers and 25 SVE employees.

24 Heures Saint-Pierre raised 264,824 euros, which made the following possible:

  • 15 children with autism are able to continue their education thanks to the Améthyste Project.

  • 80 children with disabilities are able to participate in Human Lab Projects.

  • Every year, 10,000 children are able to benefit from innovative care at the Saint-Pierre Institute.
SVE is already looking forward to next year’s event!
